In Loving
Memory Of Margaret "Peg" Kinch June 3, 1951 - January 1,
2010 Peg was one of our most inspiring "Survivor Divers"
She
enthusiastically met every challenge and always wanted to be underwater.
Becoming a certified diver was a great accomplishment for Peg.
She made the most
of everything she did. She dove in Hawaii with the Manta Rays, The living seas
in Orlando, with the manatees in Florida, and even encouraged her children to
get certified and dove with them.

cancer story.
We love you Peg and will miss your Enthusiastic attitude.
Four Generations; Elizabeth, Elsie, Lisa & Jennifer. Two have died of Breast Cancer I am going to stop that trend...
Our mission as a non profit 501(C)(3) is to enhance the quality of life for breast cancer survivors. To empower each individual to bring greater wellness & healing into their own lives. To raise awareness about the prevention of breast cancer by declaring war not on a disease, but on the perpetrators of that disease.
In 1977 at the age of 44, my mother, Elsie Bergman, was diagnosed with breast
cancer and had a radical mastectomy. In her words, "I no longer have one of my
breasts, but more importantly, I no longer have breast cancer." She decided it
was time to really start living her life to the fullest.
She always wanted to be a scuba diver, so in 1978 she and I took scuba
lessons and became certified. Scuba diving became her passion; she worked for
and received her scuba instructor's license and started sharing it with others
by teaching.
My mother and I were able to share hundreds of dives in the Bahamas, until
she passed away in 2000. I was in awe to see how her spirit came alive. Being
underwater, weightless and surrounded by beautiful fish and colorful coral, she
felt happy, peaceful and grateful to be alive. Cancer was no longer a fear to be
controlled by, but a freedom and insight that life was truly a gift meant to be
shared. Today I am carrying on my mother's passion to bring this joy to other
breast cancer survivors, by introducing them to the adventure and peace of scuba
diving.
