healing into their own lives. To raise awareness about the prevention of breast cancer by declaring war not on a disease, but on the perpetrators of that disease.

The Mermaid Alliance

No need to be a
Scuba Diver to
be a MERMAID

Just the desire to have fun and support other women to live fully and do the same.

Seek the company
of other Mermaids

If there’s one thing mermaids know, it’s how to have fun. Mermaids never betray each other. They know it’s a sisterhood, not a competition. Mermaids encourage and complement each other, swooning over their achievements and beauty. They give each other gifts that glorify their kindred spirits. The more mermaids the merrier. In our natural state, we form great whirling schools of harmony and beauty.

To thine own
Mermaid be true,

Lisa Lurer of the Seas

Hi. What do I do for fun? Well, the five ‘special’ things that I enjoy aside from spending time with family and friends (don’t most all people enjoy that?) are: Scrapbooking- looking through photos / memories / life is so uplifting Travel- new experiences and seeing different cultures is exciting and puts life into perspective Spa- four-layer facial (need I say more?) Physical workouts or activities- the gym, mountain biking, skiing, etc… conquering your environment and your physical self is invigorating.

"For my idea of fun  I obviously love to scuba dive, I enjoy empowering people and motivating them to be the best they can be.(which in turn motivates me) I love to ride my bike, walk on the beach anytime. I love boating and I love love watching the sunrise and the sunset. I love to snow ski and do most active challenging activities. I love being grateful and showing it.  I love being a Mermaid".

Amy Marks: I would say for fun... I like to shop, I also love to relax by a pool and read a good book... with all my friends and family at my side. It's not real exciting or adventurous, but it's my kind of fun.

FOR FUN I LUGGED A CLAWFOOT BATHTUB OUT INTO MY BACK WOODS, AND PLUMBED IT FOR HOT AND COLD WATER.  I GARDEN A LITTLE WOODLAND GARDEN BACK THERE , AND I TAKE BATHS IN THE WOODS, EVEN IN THE RAIN!  IT IS REALLY DELIGHTFUL!
