
Our program will begin teaching breast cancer survivors to scuba dive. They will receive classroom and pool instruction. When the divers complete their training, the will receive open water certification.
PADI Open Water Diver Course
Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community.
Why PADI Open Water?
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.
What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.
What will I do?
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water ocean dives.
How long will it take?
There are several options;
3 week course 2 nights each week.
Times:
Academic sessions: Mondays @ 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Pool sessions: Wednesdays @ 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Cost: $ 150.00 – Includes manual, dive tables, log book, and use of buoyancy compensator, tanks, and regulator.
Weekend course All day Saturday and Sunday.
Times: 8:00am – 4:00 each day.
Cost: $ 175.00 - Includes manual, dive tables, log book, and use of buoyancy compensator, tanks, and regulator.
All classes are followed up by 4 open water
checkout dives conducted over a two-day period. Dives are done in the warm clear waters of the Bahamas. You’ll do your checkout dives off a boat and stay a hotel on Saturday night.
We take a once in a lifetime trip to experience the beauty of diving in clear warm water surrounded by beautiful coral and colorful fish.

The class, equipment and the open water trip are paid for by survivor Diver. We do ask for you to get a minimum of $500.00 in sponsorship to help us to continue to offer this to other survivors.
